hi! I’m Christina, owner/operator of Derby Empire and I hate doing “about me’s”! I am a mom, a retired Navy Chief, an active derby player, coach and captain and now a business owner.

I’ve been skating for as long as I can remember and picked up roller derby in 2012 and haven’t looked back since. This sport is one of the best things that has happened to me, but, there are some shortfalls. Namely, trying to figure out which skates and which gear to get, since there aren’t many places where we can actually try them on. This is where Derby Empire comes in. We’re here to provide as many brands and styles as logistics will allow to give local skaters the “try before you buy” experience almost every other sport offers.
